Masters of War

The people in our highest offices of government are so corrupt, so greedy, so evil and they have such a foot hold that I think its too late. There is nothing that they won't do to stay in power. Nothing.

Five years ago, they allowed the single most vile event in our history to occur. They allowed it at the very least. The leader of the free world was not whisked away to safety by secret service agents when our country was under attack. They knew about the first plane and thought it might be a horrible accident. But when they learned of the second plane it was very clear we were under attack. Yet he sat there in a schoolhouse and did nothing. No reaction, no change in his expression, no secret service. They allowed it to happen. It was late afternoon, I think before any speech, press release or any word whatsoever came from the Whitehouse. Nothing. And now its too late.

Five years later, not only have they not caught and killed the people who openly claimed responsibility, they cannot tell the truth about it. They have constantly tried to rewrite history, with zealous help from the media and ohmygodcanIbeyourbestfriend help from Congress. They are such liars and thieves and murderers, that I think its too late.

There are so many ignorant, so many blissfully ignorant taxpayers, voters and citizens that I think its too late. They don't want to wake up. Here we are two months from the elections. Gas prices are down. Go back to sleep. Nothing to see here, nothing at all.

Every single person who graduates from high school and then again from college is required to take history. World history and American history. But it never applies to us, right? Its like the Bible. It only applies to the sinners, and thats not us. We don't have a government without checks and balances. We don't need another Boston Tea party. We aren't worried about separation of church and state. We aren't worried about a right to privacy or free speech. Give me liberty or give me a nice nap. I have not yet begun to sleep.

Go back to sleep. Its too late. They've got it. They've probably had it for a long time. They make Nixon look like an amateur. They are masters. They are the Masters.
